A perfect little winter dress

I’ve always loved wearing dresses. I love the feminine, classy style I associate them with. Since it’s getting colder here in The Netherlands I wanted a dress that would keep me warm even on the coldest of days.

Burda 9/2015 #110  was a great pattern to use as a base. I discarded the keyhole and shortened the pattern a little to add a flounce. I created the flounce by cutting a circle. For the puff sleeves I used Burda pattern 12/2014 #114. Not sure if I really like the sleeves on the dress though. I’d probably make one with regular sleeves next time.

The slightly loose fit, pockets and smooth fabric make for a very comfortable dress. Pairing a mini dress with overknee boots keeps the legs warm so you’ll be able to rock this on any cold day.
